New Rules

Hello Everyone,
Had a little wrinkle in my life last week and had to delete "the other side of me". My new blog name is "this is not me" for two reasons. One, I still feel like a stranger to the blog world and two, I am still in hiding.

I have to ask you to play along with me here, just a few simple changes. This may not be a big deal in a while, but right now it's very important.

1. I cannot write my company name anywhere or talk about what is going on there. If we do talk about the big "R" then you may visit me in jail where my nickname will be Martha. If you need more information than this, give me a call, I'll explain as much as I am legally able. Sound juicy? Not so much, I'm just on guard.

2. I don't want to list the kids names anymore, at least not for a while. I will refer to them as K,L,C, and M. Don't want anyone to be able search for me that way for a while. Had a little scare this week and have been feeling overexposed.

One of my customers who flirts like mad but is for the most part harmless asked for my address. He thought that since he was working in town we could get together. Long story short, after I politely turned him down he found my last name, looked up my address in the phone book and called me at work to describe my house while he was sitting in front of it. Again, I think he's harmless, but why take chances?

My week was full of highs and lows, one extreme to another, nothing in between. Very draining.

It started with an employee having a seizure at work early Monday morning and a legal issue Monday afternoon, then stalker guy on Tuesday.

But good things happened too. I was selected for a special project I'd been hoping to get and will start that in earnest in January. Very excited about that.

M (see how easy it is to read her name into that initial?) had a benign nevus on Friday last week that was going to be removed Monday morning. When she took her shirt off for the doctor to look at it, the bump was gone. No scraping, freezing, numbing, or anything else they were going to do.

And my good friend Becky took our family pictures Sunday afternoon. Can't wait to share those! As always she was able to say reassuring things to calm me during and after my troubles this week.

So for the next couple of weeks I'll be lying low, but I'll be around.
